We will be learning how to transfer a basic outline to our paper using a template, then draw in the linework with a fine-liner pen before we apply the watercolour paint. This lesson is perfect for relaxing and learning to loosen up your painting style. Pens, paint, paper, blank cards and envelopes are provided so you can treat your family and friends to a special greetings card. (Personally, I like the mouse. Possibly a Valentine's Card?)

Workshop #3: Sea and Sand Dunes Saturday 7 February 10am-1pm

A simple watercolour flower can look amazing and will build your confidence and joy in painting. We will be using soft yellows, pinks and lavenders to create these lovely floral images.

Watercolour painting is a simple four stage process; whether it's trees, tulips or tropical birds!
1. We sketch out the design. (Using my templates.)
2. We block in the colours.
3. We add the shadows and darks.
4. We finish off with final touches, detail and textures.
Give me three hours of your time and I will show you exactly how to do it.
