Its red-roofed cottages spill down steep slopes toward a sweeping sandy beach, embraced by dramatic cliffs and the gentle curve of the bay. Sheltered waters invite swimming, paddle boarding, and fossil hunting along the shore. 

At its edge stands the iconic Lifeboat House, a symbol of the village’s proud maritime past and enduring bond with the sea. Runswick Bay offers a timeless escape—perfect for quiet exploration, coastal walks, and soaking in the beauty of land and sea.
