In this workshop we will explore how to paint loose floral designs using watercolour paints. For those who have been before, the format will be similar but this time we will be using winter flowers for inspiration.

This style of painting is ideal for the beginner, or if you already paint but you want to try a different, looser style. This will be a fun session and no drawing skills are necessary. We will go through everything in baby steps!

We will start by getting to know the materials you will be using... paints, brushes, palettes etc. All materials will be supplied on the day.

Next we will do some simple mark making exercises so you can get a feel for mixing and applying paint. We will learn how to paint individual leaves, and petals, then move on to flower heads.

Finally, we will create some floral greeting card designs with a seasonal touch! You will be able to glue your artwork to blank cards so you can take them home.

To book your place please email: andrewbrownart@outlook.com

We will send you all the information you need to attend a few days before you are due to come along!

If you can't make it but would be interested in future workshops, please email me and I will let you know when other workshops become available.

Parking is available adjacent to the Bar Convent in Nunnery Lane Car Park. It is also on most bus routes and the Train Station is within easy walking distance.
